If this sounds like you, you’re in the right place…

You know you want to take care of your body, but you keep getting stuck in that exhausting, on-and-off cycle of working out and dieting. You are exhausted. You’re ready for a plan that actually fits your real life, supports your body exactly as it is, and gives you permission to take up space.

Most of all, you’re looking for a coach who can help you get strong as fuck—without the toxic pressure to shrink yourself.

That is exactly why I do this work. Let me tell you how I got here.

I’m a strength and yoga coach for curvy / big midlife women and queers who are ready to ditch the diet culture bullshit, step out of the all-or-nothing cycle, and build strength that lasts for life.

I’ve been immersed in the fitness industry for nearly two decades, and I’ve been hands-on coaching for over ten years. But a few years ago, my relationship with my work completely shifted when I began my own recovery journey, realizing I had been struggling with eating disorders for most of my life. I knew firsthand what it felt like to use movement as a punishment and to feel entirely unwelcome in traditional fitness and yoga spaces.

I realized the wellness industry was broken—so I decided to build my own corner of it.

Today, I create spaces where you can focus entirely on your capability. Through progression strength training and the full embodiment of yoga, I provide the structure, guidance, and accountability you need to build real strength and confidence on your own terms. No shaming, no shrinking—just reclamation..

I’ve always loved working out and lifting weights, but for a long time, my relationship with iron was completely weaponized by diet culture. Movement was treated as a punishment for existing, all to fit into some bullshit mold.

And frankly? It makes me furious. When I finally broke out of that toxic cycle, I looked around the fitness world and realized just how deeply broken it actually is. It is a multi-billion-dollar industry entirely obsessed with how you look, completely hijacked by the demand that you shrink your body to matter.

Almost no one out there is talking about what it’s actually like to train in a curvy, big body. They act like fitness has a specific look—and it's a lie.

Fitness doesn't have a fucking look. Strength belongs to every single body.

That’s exactly why I do this work now. I am done playing by their rules. I wanted to create a radically different approach: a space where you don't have to apologize for existing, where the goal isn't to get smaller, and where we focus entirely on getting strong as fuck and taking care of your body for life.

What you can expect

  • Learn to Move with Total Confidence: Through structured strength training, embodied yoga, and focused coaching, you’ll build the real skills you need to feel powerful and capable in your body. It doesn’t matter what your past experience, current ability, or size is—you belong here.

  • A Space That Is Unapologetically Inclusive: This isn’t a generic "judgment-free zone" marketing slogan. I intentionally design my spaces so that curvy, big bodies and the queer community can show up exactly as they are without needing to explain themselves.

  • Zero Perfection, Endless Variations: Movement should support your life, not punish your joints. Whether we are working with barbells or diving into yoga philosophy, everything is adaptable. I specialize in meeting your body exactly where it’s at today—using chair and mat variations to ensure that every single movement is accessible, doable, and effective for you.

  • Build Real Strength Without the Pressure to Shrink: The focus here is entirely on what your body can do, not what it looks like. We leave dieting and body obsession at the door. You are here to get strong as fuck and take care of your body for life—period.

  • Stay Consistent with Expert Structure and Guidance: You don't need more willpower; you need a plan that actually works with your real life. Through structured coaching, community connection, and ongoing accountability, I give you the support you need to stop the on-again, off-again cycle and build habits that stick.

“I went into this (working with GG)to gain strength back. I used to hate the thought of kneeling/sitting on the ground for fear I could not get back up gracefully or at all. Now I can do that without the worry!”

“My biggest transformation would be in my legs, they got so weak to me I didn't think I could get them back. But I did thanks to GG’s help!!”

A little bit more about me

My life isn’t lived inside a polished fitness studio. I live on a farm in rural Manitoba, where my days are a real, gritty mix of coaching, working out in the fields, and hanging out with my partner and our puppy.

When I’m not working, I’m chasing adventures. You’ll usually find me camping, heading out west to the mountains to snowboard, or traveling to a new country to explore, learn about different cultures, and meet people from all walks of life.

I am on a lifelong journey of expanding my knowledge and practicing the full embodiment of yoga—both on the mat and in my everyday life.

Living this active, unrestricted life has shown me exactly why taking care of my body matters. I don't train to fit into a smaller dress size; I train so I can throw around hay bales, carve down mountains, travel the world, and do the things I love without my body slowing me down.

That is exactly what I want for you. I want you to feel strong as fuck, find deep peace, and be fully capable of living your own adventures on your own terms.
